aluminum Fencing Installation

The benefits of installing aluminum fencing on your North Carolina property.

Aluminum fences are constructed with two to three horizontal members, or rails and a pattern of vertical members, or pickets that are spaced about two inches apart, depending on your needs. You can customize your aluminum fence sections by choosing from slight variations in the most basic style known as “closed-picket”.

There are typically three colors available, including, but not limited to: white, black and bronze. Colors are applied to the aluminum parts via powder coating, a process that coats the surface with a dry powder then cures the parts in an oven creating an extremely durable and attractive top-coat.

Aluminum closed picket Fence Installation in North Carolina

Aluminum
Closed Picket Fence

Closed picket aluminum fencing is the most standard and basic of all aluminum styles. The closed picket design is constructed by screwing each picket into the top of a bottom channel and then into the bottom of a top-cap and snap system. This style is assembled by snapping each post of a section into the post of the following section linearly. Once the fencing sections are snapped together, a top-cap is then snapped into place on the top of each fence line, creating a virtually seamless top-cap all around.

Open Picket Fence

In contrast to the standard closed-picket style, open-picket fences have vertical members that protrude up through the top channel, and are topped with decorative finials. This style of aluminum fence does not use a top-cap and snap system, instead, each picket is screwed into the bottom channel, and then protrude through holes that are punched into the top channel. Also, the posts on open-picket style are raised up past the top channel.
